Foundation Fill-UP (MTSS Universal Support)

 

This program is designed to be used as a universal support in the classrooms of early emergent readers. Using both music and movement, this  model  is an easy way to deliver the essentials. By way of the unique implementation of the TMP,  we deliver lit language-- high-energy, high-frequency, high-impact "phoneme to word"engagement. It can be implemented for as few as 10 minutes daily and yield remarkable results! Just a quick, fun, arts integration program to kick start the acquisition of early reading skills and introduce the emergent reader to as much language as possible.

Foundation Fill-In  (Intervention)

 

This program is designed to optimally address the needs of readers who may have had difficulty or missed some of the foundation reading skills/building blocks along the way. Using our unique methods, scaffolding and filling in the knowledge gaps, as needed, the FOUNDATION Fill-IN is the perfect intervention plan  to re-engage learners into the reading process via the arts.  Via sound and song, encoding and decoding the phoneme-to-word relationship, this program is designed to identify and repair breakdowns of the struggling reader.

Student Sound Coach /Mentor-Mentee Model(Intervention)

 

This program is designed to target students who have unfortunately gotten lost in the shuffle; those older students who are behind in literacy because, quite simply, they are missing too many of the essential early reading skills--but too old and therefore, too ashamed to admit it. Using the Sound Coach Mentor Model, these students are trained on the foundational skills in an age-appropriate fashion. By learning, among other things,  to deliver the "lit learning" model as a student sound coach, the student gains, not only, personal knowledge,  but  also leadership skills, by mentoring and taking on the responsibility of teaching newly-acquired skills to a younger student (phonics mentee).
